Personal Care - The personal care attendants (PCA) of Nightingale Nursing collaborate with the patient to complete the activities of daily living and beyond.  PCA's assist the client to bathe, toilet, mouth care, eat, transfer, ambulate, shave, exercise etc.

Emergency Response Systems - Accidents and emergencies can happen at any time, to anyone.  It is important to get assistance as soon as possible.  The lifeline system gives confidence that help will be available in an emergency.  The program allows patients to stay in the home home, knowing that someone is always available, 24 hours a day who knows them and who will call family, friends, doctor or emergency services if needed.

Homemaker Services - Sometimes the only barrier a person has to overcome to stay in the home, versus a nursing home is to have some assistance.  Light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, laundry, dishes and other housekeeping tasks.  Our homemaker program is designed to provide assistance in these areas.

House Monitoring - The house monitoring program enables people to leave town, and not have to worry about leaving their home unattended.  Nightingale employs reliable personnel to check on your home and help with necessary duties to ensure the house and belongings are safe.

Rise and Shine/Tuck In - Need an extra push in the morning?  Too tired to get ready for bed at the end of the day?  Caregivers can be tired at the end of the day too and may proceed with getting the client to bed with haste.  Rise and Shine and Tuck In Services allow a refreshing new face to step into the situation to provide help with dressing, eating, medications etc.  Rise and Shine/Tuck In services will give the client a good start and/or a relaxing end to the day.

Grocery/Personal Shopping
- Nightingale Nursing is here to meet the client’s shopping needs be it going to the grocery store or the department store for new clothing.  Transportation to and from shopping can be arranged.

Respite Care - Respite care allows time away for family care givers be it hours or for a few days.  A break from the compassionate care provided for a loved on can be important to prevent the burn out of the caregiver and maintain their personal wellbeing.

Medication Management - Medication mismanagement is one of the most common causes of hospital admissions.   Nightingale Nursing home health aides can remind clients to take their medications, report side effects and assist with pre- measured medication packages to help clients avoid potentially dangerous medication mismanagement.
